Readership Analysis
Across the hospitality industry the vast majority of team members are not employees of the hotel company but of the local franchise. This means that the elements that differentiate the brand are influenced rather than directed. This influencing of the franchisees is critical to the long success of the brand. Orgwide conducted a series of surveys to determine readership of various brand materials.
Development Needs
Orgwide conducted a customized management competency assessment for a client's IT organization. The assessment was designed and administered to four distinct teams identified as: (1) Executive Management, (2) Senior Management, (3) Front-line Management (the target audience), and (4) Front-line Team Members. A total of 300 respondents participated in the survey and an action plan developed from the results.
Time-saving Tip Campaign
Sometimes the simplest information is the most valuable. Orgwide assisted one of our clients in communicating 10 time-saving tips that would help focus activities during one of the most hectic part of the day. The hospitality industry is largely franchised and so relies greatly upon influence of franchise employees rather than direct control as would be the case with employees. Information campaigns such as this time-saving tip is an excellent example of how disparate audiences can be influenced.
Organizational Climate Survey
Having consulting for numerous divisions, departments and teams across various client organizations we can attest with certainty that each entity can and does have an internal social life that may or may not be in lockstep with the larger parent. An organizational climate survey and help to identify current or imminent issues that will affect the team's performance and drive either pre-emptive or corrective action.
